Genial comic Drew Carey was tapped Monday to replace silver-haired legend Bob Barker on the CBS daytime game show “The Price is Right.” Carey confirmed the deal during a taping of the “Late Show” with David Letterman.

Some good news for fans on internet radio. Based on this article from Wired.com a SoundExchange exec just promised — in front of Congress — that SoundExchange will not enforce the collection of webcaster royalties under the new rates that would have driven many of them out of business.

A tipster sent us these spy pics of what he says is the upcoming cheap version of the TiVo Series 3 personal video recorder, which is rumored to be a sub-$300 HDTV digital recorder to be available this fall.
